Most people probably made a ton of new characters. I personally loved making new characters because my favorite part of the game was the first 15 levels.
Qeynos and Fayspires were the two that really stood out to me. On the other hand, Neriak and Grobb were rarely visited. Never, in any game, could get into the darker areas.
